Current Sermon Series
True King and Promised Messiah Series
Sermons on the Gospel of Matthew
Pastor Jonathan Stobbs
On Sunday mornings, (apart from certain occasions) the messages look to explain Matthew’s Gospel verse by verse. This wonderful book of the Bible has a clear purpose in showing that Jesus really is the King of kings, the true Messiah, the Son of God and the only Saviour. It shows that during His earthly ministry those who should have received Him, rejected Him. However, Jesus accomplished all that He was sent to do and through His life, death, and resurrection has made the way through which sinners can be made right with God. Matthew’s Gospel also emphasises that the King who came once is coming again! If you would like to listen to the messages from Matthew so far, please click here.
Jesus said –
‘Come to Me, all
you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.’
